Ordering Information

- Email image(s) to kristenojardportraits@gmail.com. I am happy to help choose the best suited image for a portrait.
- Please include the following information:
-Name(s) of portrait subject
-Size(s) of portraits and orientation (vertical/horizontal)
-Hair/Eye color(s) - please send additional images of unique eye/hair colors
-Photographer/Florist (if applicable)
- Clothing brand (if special or meaningful)
-Shipping Address
-Permission to post on social media - yes or no

- Portraits are typically painted from the chest up. If you would like yours painted otherwise let me know.
- Please let me know of any distinguishable features or marks (e.g. dimples, freckles, moles) you want to ensure are painted and/or scratches, stray hairs, etc. you would NOT like painted.
-I highly recommend changing loud patterned clothing or holiday specific clothing to a solid/neutral color or pattern. Solid colors and simple patterns translate better to watercolor in my opinion.
- Payment can be made via Venmo @Kristen-Ojard or check. Payment is due upon ordering. Please only send payment after an image is agreed upon. ***If you choose the “full refund” option on Venmo please note there will be a price increase of 5% to offset cost. Thank you!
- Turnaround time is typically 4-5 months.

Choosing an Image

- A clear, close-up image with face well lighted (professional is strongly encouraged).
- Please send original, high resolution images (no phone screenshots of poor quality).
- Background is not painted. I am happy to paint the background of a photo for 25% additional cost.
- Small details can be changed (e.g.- fixing hair, removing scrapes, changing clothing color, etc.).
- Sending multiple images is helpful - I am happy to help choose which photo will work best in watercolor.

Framing Tips

Standard framing sizes include 5x7, 8x10, and 11x14. Mats and frames are readily available in these sizes, making framing affordable and easy. Other framing options:

- Custom frame.
- Have a craft store such as Hobby Lobby cut a mat to fit a pre-made frame you love. This is much cheaper than custom framing.
